I have been looking for a formula that would capture a ADX Cross, that is the pdi crosses the mdi. I have also tried to write this myself but I am a complete moron when it comes to coding. I would like to use this formula on daily, weekly and monthly data. Can anyone give me a hand with this?
Much obliged,
Shelley

hey shelley.... most indicators and explorations can be used across all time frames.... there are some exceptions.... perhaps Cross(PDI(14),MDI(14)) and Cross(MDI(14),PDI(14)) will show you the crosses.... wouldn't hurt to embellish that minimum code abit for better results.....h

hey shelley.... another thought,.... if by chance you had the code right but it was the results that seemed incorrect, check to make sure your exploration was not set to 'load minimum records'.... if it was , set it to use 100 or similar for adx cross.... there are some explorations where meta's description of minimum seems a tad light..... adx cross is a good example of that..... bump it up some for more accurate results...... h
