A stranger (to me) who is no longer using his Metastock Pro program 9.0 has offered to sell it to me. This is not a copy, but the actual original program, so as far as I know it's totally legal to buy it, correct? Two questions, will this work on my PC (is there a password needed?). If I decide to just use it as an EOD service instead of subscribing to a RT data feed, will the Pro Version accept Metastock compatible EOD data, or will it only accept a RT data feed? Many thanks!!

If the version is 9.0 it is not legal, there is a specific paragraph in the license agreement that forbids people to resell their license of metastock ... So you can buy it but do not expect any support from the support department over at Equis, do not expect to get upgrade prices when the next version comes out etc ...

Hi,
I have a smiliar case here. a friend has offered to sell his MS PRO 9.0 to me. He claimed that it is new and has never been installed before and promised to refund me if i am unable to register the software. Will i be entilted to the benefits as a new client then?
