I'm not sure I fully understood this message. However, if you are saying you have an ASCII file properly formatted with data, the Folder you are referring to is the location of this ASCII text, i.e. C:\\My Convert Data. File name is of course the name of the ASCII text file that resides in the folder. Destination file type would be MetaStock and the destination folder would be whichever folder you want to store the data in i.e. C:\\MetaStock Data\\Converted

Here is attached a screen capture of the Downloader Conversion screen
I need a person familar with the DTLink data coversion and file names
to correctly format the Downloader Conversion screen.
I am do not know how to complete this screen
Both use ascii

I'm not following this... if you have ascii data already formatted, just fill in the blanks.
Source Folder- where your ascii is located
File Name- the name of your ascii file, e.g., EXAMPLE.TXT
Destination Folder- where you want the file to go... probably where your other data files reside
If this is not what you need, attach a copy of the data you are talking about.
