I'm slightly confused on this one. On page 81 of the Formula Prime, the last two sentences state: BarSince(C>40) This returns the number of periods that have passed since the closing price was greater than 40. If this is currently true, it will return a 0. My question is, does it return an INTEGER (number of periods that have passed) or does it return a BOOLEAN (If this is currently true, it will return a 0). Hi Willie, it is the integer value of the number of bars, and as stated if it is currently true on that bar, then the value will be 0, as the event is 0 bars away. regards Dave

hey willie.... i'm not lookin at the primer now but "barssince(c>40)" will return the number of days since the security closed above 40 bucks providing its less than 40 today.... so 'adbe' would list 2 and 'adsk' would be 3 , 'amat' would be 1348 and so on.... that will be for securites that are today below 40...... for securities that are above 40 today it will list '0'.... it seems odd till you study on it abit...... or at least it did to me.....h
