You know the people and you know the address. If you are getting this feed from some source other than Equis International, then you may not be getting the real deal. RSS is hugely popular right now, and is here to stay. However, as one might expect, the regulation and ethics of its use are lagging. Not to mention enforcement of copyright law. You know, don’t you, that nothing is completely free? Rules are attached. Everything, all content published, is bound in some type of copyright wrapper. Some people just do not care. If you are searching for the Equis International Forum, go to http://forum.equis.com

Hi All - Let me just follow that up. I know one of the sites that is "stealing" the Equis forum content and republishing it as their own (I say stealing because although the info is free it was mean to be freely distributed - it was not meant to be repackaged and used to con you into giving up your information so you could be hard sold anything). This person says he is a MetaStock expert, claims to have your best interests at heart... however, never contributes here - the one place where people help each other and provide content for MetaStock. This guy has a "buy MetaStock now" page that lists all the ebay auctions - not ever telling you that the user license is Non Transferrable... so if you buy from ebay you don't get support, upgrades, anything you will need in the future. I have contacted him a number of times about unethical google adword buys (have you seen Don't Buy or Use MetaStock until you click on my cheesy link???) My suggestion to everyone is... buy from reliable sources. Equis or it's authorized distributors. Check www.equis.com for the full list. Don't buy "training", newsletters, experts, indicators or anything else from ANYONE until you check here. Does that person post here? Offer help and advice? Is that person a reliable member of the MetaStock community??? If the answer is maybe then ask the question here... I am sure there are honest people out there. Someone will have dealt with them and will offer you first hand advice not some generic testimonial. If the answer is NO - run a mile. Don't waste your money and time. As always - it is you guys who make this a great place to be.... Marilyn

hey guys , gals and varmits.... really have no idea what the wolves deal is about, kinda prefer to keep it that way..... i've been using metastock about a year and a half now.... the first 6 months were tough, several times i put it down.... there was very little on the internet in the way of real help other than complex coding issues.... my 2 simple questions still stand unanswered on other forums..... the forum [censored]ll gif the other day was no joke.... marilyn and patrick have indeed created a well rounded metastock training [censored]ll that at times they must feel consumed by...... considering patrick's dll influence, the metaflix library along with help from doc, pyraduis, kevin, brussell, and others, henry's codes and such, there is just no comparision how much more is available today than was in 2004.... and in one pleasant to use web site.... hope equis is aware..... thanks, gals and guys.....h

To whom it may concern, I've own Metastock for over a year maybe 2Yrs. -I can't remeber exactly and I'm still new at using it .It wasn't until I found this forum that I started using it in earnest and evryday I learn new things thanks to all the contributing forum memebers. I really enjoy being a part of this forum because I know I could get help as well as being allowed to help as somewhat as an exchange if you will. Thanks to all the administrators and contributing members for their time and their willingness to help. This forum is a treasure and I guess some people are trying to capitalize on the generosity of the people who put this together and the people that make it up without given credit where its dew and in essence its stealing from all of us because we make up the group and this is not okay.

I would like to also thank Patrick and everyone else who regularly contributes to this forum. I have used Metastock for a long time, and feel that this recent addition of the user forum is very helpful. Metastock is an incredibly deep program with a steep learning curve. Being able to talk to other users can save hundreds of hours! So thanks again for all the hard work. =D> =D> P. Wooton
