adl and several others had questions reguarding 'cancelled open-cost' in the system tester.... that confused me at first also.... just as in real life trading, there are several reasons metastock's system tester will cancel trades on us.... we want our systems to be real life and nothing is more real life than 'insufficient funds'.... the system tester can be intimadating, or at least it was for me, sometime back i went through it word for word and created explanations for each... have been looking for that work a month now to no avail..... its somewhere, until then, here is an example of what was on my mind.... just run your mouse pointer over the blue words..... one way to assure not missing trades due to 'open cost'/insufficient funds is to set your account balance large.... one yang to that ying is it's possible to lose more with large accounts on the same system test.... and speaking of open, if you have downloaded and saved the training videos and are having trouble viewing them, it might be that the 'open with' program is not set.... if when you look in the folder the file has a funny lookin icon with swf or something as file type, try clicking on it.... microsoft might give the 'the choose program popup'.... select internet explorer.....h
