Hi,
I've called many times [ran out of cell minutes] and have tried for weeks to do something very simple. I just want to see a screen with two charts on it. Each chart will have AlphaOmega Expert installed. One chart will be 10minutes and the other 60min. Notice I'm not usting the descriptions, "SmartCharts", "Layouts", "Templates", Oh yes and when I called I was told I needed a "Layout Template". I have accomplished this before with your help, but I can't figure it out again.
To prove my point on page 98 of the manual, it states to create a template:
File Open Layout [for multi-chart template].
Select the layout [How can I when I have not created it?]. So I guess I need to create a layout 1st?
Sorry about the frustration. But would you please tell me how to end up with a screen with two charts on it configured as above. I want to be able to open other charts and see the same stuff, except for a new security, [ or is it a new chart, or a new smartchart].
Thanks,
Joe

Steps.
[list:d147a0ff95]Open Metastock
Open a 10 minutes chart
Open a 60 Minutes chart
Arange the charts, the way you want, apply indicators, line studies etc ...
Click on file, new, layout, click on add all.
Click on file save as and save your layout.[/list:u:d147a0ff95]
Now I don't think you should make it a template but if you want to, click on file save as, change the file type to template. Click on save.
Hope this helps
