Hi body,
Someone could explain why a lot a symbols having regular market activity in AMEX (for example) are not supported by Reuters Datalink EOD.
For example :
THE ALLIED DEFENSE GROUP INC AMEX:ADG
Is there a way to add all these symbols for collection ?

It could be the symbol database it out of date.
In The DownLoader go to tools | update symbol data base.
You can also add a security in The Downloader , go to file new security.
This will add it to your securites data but not to the symbol database.

Database is up to date. I will therefore use the securities addition in order to solve my problem

hey manuel.... the symbol database has more to do with opening a chart in real time than anything.... your local data folders for downloading are seperate and apart....
i see as you mentioned that symbol is not in the local data folder but is in the symbol database..... doc's method will solve that.....
depending on how many are missing it might be of value to create a 'amex' folder using the symbol database as a guide..... it could include all the amex issues..... the only hit would be in the time to download from scratch.......h
