Hi,
I wonder how can I export a stock list (like the stocks in a favorite folder) to another software, like excel?
Thanks.

You can also copy the results of a MetaStock exploration to Excel. Mark any line in the report (the first line already marked when you first open the report doesn't count), use the Ctrl/V keyboard shortcut to copy the report, then paste it into an Excel spreadsheet/workbook.

I experienced difficulties in exporting data from System Tester into Excel with the format of data. In particular, the fraction showing winning positions divided by loosing positions would appear with date format in some instances. Toshow the correct values one would have to format the column as text but then you could not use the data for sorting or any other manipulation.
