Does Metastock 9.1 EOD data feed come with Forex quote or is it only available via Metastock 9.1 Pro and Quote Center only? I ask this beacuse most Forex quotes appear to be real time. Those of you who are already using Metastock 9.1 EOD do you get Forex EOD data via Reuters Data Link service? Does any version of Metastock allow full automation of Forex trading strategies via Interbank FX since Metastock is not a trading platform? Tradestation does not offer this as of yet since their FX Platform is 3rd party as well. I intend to engage in swing and position play of the Forex market. Thanks for your help, guys. Ikenga.

Hello - FOREX is real time only... there really isn't any end of day because there are markets open pretty much around the clock. Pro FX has an interface with InterbankFX now and we are getting ready to release an interface in to COES Fx. MetaStock analyzes the data from QuoteCenter (which has info from over 800 banks) and then you trade through the interface... Does this help?? :) M

Marilyn, thanks for your quick response; so in essence if I want to use metastock to analyse forex I must order Metastock 9.1 Pro or Metastock 9.1 Pro fx? From your response it appears that automated trading strategies might not be possible via the Interbank forex interface or is it? Any current Metastock 9.1 Pro or Pro fx user out there who can throw more light on this? Thanks

That is correct! The essential difference between the two is the Pro FX is designed for FOREX only... and Pro will do everything... Who else wants to add their two cents here?? :) M
