Importing 7 years of data into Metastock but only seeing 3?

Sorry guys, I tried searching for answer but the metastock search feature kept freezing on me.
Can someone help me - I am loading 7 years of data into the metastock downloader, but when I open a chart in metastock I can only see the last 3 years on a daily periodicity.
I can change the periodicity to monthly or weekly and can see all seven years.
However I would have liked to be able to scroll back on a daily periodicity to 7 years early and see the daily open, high, low, close etc.
Can this be done - am I doing something wrong?

Click on file, open, options, load options .... Change your load options to 2000 periods ( 250 days represent about a year )
