Right now this can be done only through copy-and-paste and further data manupulation in Excel is need to get the data in useable form (parse text to numeric etc).
It will reduce a lot of effort if the test results can be export to Excel directly.
Also right now only the image of the equity curve plotted on chart can be copied to Excel and not the data. It will be very useful if the data of the equity curve be copied or exported to Excel.

Hi hayseed,
Thanks for your helpful information. I guess what you showed solved 90% of the problem. The remaining 10% will just be the format that is convenient enough to use in Excel.

It should be possible to transfer All results and reports quickly and easily.
The ability to very easily transfer the results of multiple Metastock Explorer reports into Excel would be very usefull for me.
The current method of:
1. Selecting the first row
2. Highlighting all rows by selecting the last row
3. Copy
4. Paste into Excel
is to slow.
I suggest as a minimum a way of:
1. Selecting and copying all rows (the complete report) by just clicking 1 button
2. Paste into Excel
There may be other and faster ways?
1. Drag and drop a report into Excel?
2. Saving multiple reports as multiple worksheets in one workbook
3. Copy and paste multiple reports into Excel (currently each report has to be copy/pasted 1 at a time)
4. Export multiple reports to an Excel file with the simple click of a button
5. Possibly an Excel type macro language that can automate the transfer of reports to Excel. I want to suggest making a deal with Microsoft on including their Excel macro engine in Metastock.
The focus should be on the ease and speed of transferring data to Excel. A time consuming method for transferring the results of multiple explorations is not very useful, when you are in a hurry. I'm usually in a hurry the last hour the market is open.
