Hi
I'm pretty new to "metastock world" and i've see a lot of usefull or less versions of metastock. I trade only in Romania, (www.bvb.ro, and www.bmfms.ro) so I surely don't need all that infinite datas about international markets. So, basically, I think I'd need a simple version of metastock - that was about 7-800$.
BUT, will I miss something very,very important in case I don't but the 1600$ version??

Hey Andy,
The only difference between the $800 version and the $1600 version is that the more expensive one allows you to use REAL TIME data and the cheap one only allows you to use end of day data.
It you trade real time then you need the $1600 dollar version, otherwise just get the other version. Remember that you can easily upgrade from the $800 version to the $1600 version for the difference ...

One more question: the difference between meta simple(499$) and meta pro (1695$), is this one: only live trading data? Because I don't need the real time data, i trade only based on end-of-the-day quotations.
What is the difference between MetaPro for eSignal and Qcharts? Does Qcharts include eSignal?
Could you get on yahoo mess. so we can talk, if it's not too much trouble...

Qcharts does not include esignal and esignal does not include qcharts, hence the difference ...

You wouldn't be interested in a realtime provider for EOD anyway... but, I don't see the Bucharest Stock Exchange on the DataLink list either. Do you already have a data provider?

u're right, there's no data provider in Romania yet.
My brokerage company sends me a .csv (excel) with the datas, which I can import automatically, but for each stock in part. Thank God we only have 20-25 serious stocks (and the rest of about 50 are just...to be there; u have about 10k-20k $/eur total transactions/day, for each).
Fow the moment I work with WSA (wall street analyzer) but it's very "thin" and I need a serious software.
Also, is there an official importer of equis soft in Romania? Cand I buy the Meta from someplace here?
