I'm new to MS.. so forgive me if this is basic stuff.. 2 questions.. For the .RR-[censored] charts (inder the sectors and industries subfolder), what units are used for both price and volume? How are they calculated/normalized? Which securities are represented in each.. all or a subset, and if the latter, based on what criteria? For formulas, is there a general reference available that provides the actual formula for the MS indicators? Thanx, -Monte-

hey monte.... guess it wasn't basic stuff after all...... no one has ventured a guess so let me be the first.... the reuters symbols are probably based off its industry and sector groupings.... if the calculation '.rr-xx' price is anything like the usual index, its some pretty deep math..... speakin of deep, the industry statistics of the '.rr-coal' miners show a ttm pe of 35 .... thats higher than the semi's.....h
