Hi:
I'm a new user of Metastock.
What does this mean:
MOV(V,180,S)>5000
Does this mean the Simple Moving Average of volume over the previous 180 days MUST be > 5000 or MUST be > 50000.
Somewhere I read that Metastock scales the volume by 10. Is that right.
In other words, I want to write a criteria where the Moving Average Volume over 180 days is > 500000. How do I do this?
Thanks in advance.

if you are using local data from Reuters datalink, the volume is divided by 100 so 5000 becomes 500 000
If you are using data on demand or any other data vendor the volume is not didvided by 100.

Hi Patrick:
Thanks for your quick reply. I'm using Reuters Datalink. So, it is right :)
Thanks again.
