Hi all,
I would appreciate if someone has used it and comment on the following:-
1) Is the Power Pivot Plus effective in "trade efficiency"?
2)
Quote:MetaStock users can also incorporate multiple time-frame analysis into System Tests, Explorations, and Experts.
What multiple time-frame analysis can be done? ... I am indeed interested in multiple time-frame analysis, but am not sure whether it is the one that I want..
3) As klkoo said, there are many formulae requiring the PPP plug in. Is it because it offer some platform to develop new formulae?
4) The last question is that is it worth buying, based on your experience with it?....

The PowerPivots Plus Add-on is very helpful in designing latches using the Syseval function, an alternative is to download Patrick's dll file.
The use of the Trend direction function will help keep you trading with the higher time frames trend if used as a filter.
trading with the trend will eliminate making whipsaw type of trades, thereby increasing your win to loss ratio, you might miss trades that start a new trend and get stopped out of trades at the end of an old trend. You will also take smaller wins than if you were to hold for longer trades.
The systems that come prepackaged are only so so. but are password protected
