Does anyone else have this problem? I have had this happen a few times lately. ENTU is a good example. MS shows yesterday's volume at 420,841 but the actual volume was 1.1 million...that's quite a difference and can cause someone to miss out on a good buy especially when it makes the difference between above or below average volume. I guess the problem is really with Reuters data but it's the same company and it's still frustrating when I shell out close to $3000.00 (with plugins) for MS and I have to rely on my free program from Ameritrade to verify that MS is right. When I find a difference between the 2, I then go to stockcharts.com to see which one is correct. Sometimes it's MS and sometimes it's not. Steve B

I just want to find out what could possibly be the problem here to avoid it in the future so I can rely on my $3,000.00 program rather than having to verify it all the time with free programs. Well let me post this before you post your answer ... Reuters Datalink cleans up and corrects its data for 2 Hours after the market closes and therefore recommend to their users to wait 2 hours after market close to download data. Patrick :mrgreen:

My guess is that a large after-market parcel of shares was added to the 420K EOD volume. This problem is a data issue - it has nothing to do with MetaStock itself.
