Is there a way to recover an indicator once it has been deleted from the indicator builder list? Oops!

hey g..... yes there should be.... the process woul be similar to george's dilemma some time back.... in your case what you'll be interested in will be the 'ms91form'..... its in your metastock folder.... you'll notice about 4 or 5 'ms91 's..... each of those should be copied from time to time as backups.... i'll run thru it later and let you know for sure...... and hey, i'm with you, equis needs a poster girl...... but how did miss m equate sleasy with sexy.....h

Thanks for reminding me of George's post... I never shut down MS, but I did try to recreate the indicator from memory. I may have overwritten it, but I'm not sure. I do have a copy of the MS91's now for future sake.

Well... Speaking of backups, this is a pretty simple concept: just print a hard copy of the indicator formulas. Go to the Indicator Builder; select the indicators that you're interested in; select print, then Names & Formulas. Done! If things get fouled in the future you will have a printed backup. :D
