noticed some posts on intra-day time frames lately.... couple thoughts here.... system tests can be easily run on 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 60 minute along with daily and higher.... an interesting exercise would be to run the pp ::cci(modified) system test on the 60 minute 'spy' chart.... now using the system tester, plot those results on the 'spy' chart.... you've done that before of course.... but lets go 1 step further, attach the equis macd expert advisor to that same chart.... now you can see the cci results plotted side by side with the macd expert results..... no point in stoping there, change the chart period from 60 minute to a uncommon 23 minute and both the cci results and macd expert will adjust accordingly..... for the uncommon minute chart, you must first have open a common minute, such as the 60 minute.... then click the 'i' periodcity... choose 'intraday' then 'other' and then type in your odd minute such as perhaps 26, for the 26 minute chart.... experts can be applied as usual.... for the uncommon day, first open the daily, then click the 'd' and choose 'other'..... then type in your odd day, perhaps 17, for the 17 day chart.... so next time you find yourself in a intra-daze staring at the 5 minute, change it to a 7, yeah its uncommonly odd but interesting....h
