I have an issue that I would love to resolve if it is possible in any way; I currently subscribe to eSig. for my real time data. I run many very intensive experts that heavily load my PC even though I am using a 3.2 GHz CPU w/2 gigs of RAM. I want to add several more PC's to my [censored]nal so that I can distribute the processing load between multiple PC's. Unfortunately, I can only log on to my data feed with one PC at a time even though the PC's are networked. My question is this: Does anyone know how I can set my secondary PCs to use the data feed from my primary PC? I tremendously appreciate any ideas!!! -Daniel

Unfortunately I can not see any work around to this. As you have said eSignal will only accept one connection so our only other option would be the share data files, but metastock locks the files when they are open so you can't access these same files from another application. I would try to talk esignal into giving you another account but my guess is that they will charge you for it. Sorry ... Patrick

Hi, I have one thought that you may explore..... MS can update realtime data on two set of folders simultaneously as I accidentally tried that before... Try the following to see if it works: - 1) Copy your realtime data on another folder(say if your realtime folder id RT, create RT1 and copy all data to there) and use the Tools \\ Option \\ Real-time \\ Configure Server \\ File update \\ .. to update the new set for folders to let MS Server to update the data realtime..... I have tried that and it works... but not sure if the speed will be affected or not!! 2) You can open files using you MS as you used to be, load data from folder RT, that MS may only lock the folder (RT) you originally selected 3) Try to use another computer, through network (I have not tried it), to access another set of folder, RT1, to read the data to see if it works or not..... Let me know if it works or not... if it does, teach me how to do step three... cheers! Gary

One more thought if it doesn't work..... do the same step, but copy the folder to andother computer first and use option \\........ to add the update folder location to another computer by network(??)...... see if it works .... Gary
