Hi, Ive created a layout with 3 different charts each from 3 different folders.
In options I chosen 'change all charts in layout'. What I thought was going to happen was when I chose Next Security on one chart the securitys would change on all charts. Instead they all changed to the same chart. The first one in the layout. Iknow this is minor as if I deselect 'change all ch.......out' I can select next chart on each chart in layout. I can see the point of the option if its the same chart 3 times with different indicators on each. Is there a way of making it change to a different chart, for each chart in layout.

hey rob.... check the box marked 'keep line studies' also..... along with 'change all charts' and 'use chart as template'...... they should change as you intended...... that was a good question...... thanks.....h

Hayseed, thanks for your reply, did as advised, no joy. Still changes all charts to the same one. Renames them ft100:1, ft100:2, ft100:3, even if I start with 3 different charts. Could be a challange.

hey rob ..... thats interesting.... i finally got mine to react, once, as yours but could not remember how i did it... you might try to create your layout from scratch and save it with those 'change all' options selected ..... if your layout was saved prior to those being checked it might make a difference.... still studying on it.....
mine change as you would expect..... even if one is a foriegn security.... h

hayseed, Tried your suggestion but did not work. Im wondering if reinstalling is an option. Does yours change each chart in layout to a different chart.

hey rob.... mine change the tickers only.... so the make up of each chart stays the same including if any experts were attached.... i did 1 time get it to react as yours, but could not figure out what i did....
i bet its something simple that we're overlooking.....
for some reason my meta will not load this morning, a box comes up saying this version has expired, or something like that.... once i get it back up and running i'll look into it again..... h
