I'm trying to set up Pring's KST indicators. The formulas are no problem, but I can't find a good reference for the MA periods that are used for the crossover signal lines. I'm using 80 periods for the LT KST and 10 periods for the ST KST and they look pretty good, but I'm just guessing. Can anyone tell me the usual values for LT, ST, and Tick?

In his book, Technical Analysis Explained, 3rd Ed., Pring is using an 8 period EMA for the short term, 10 for the intermediate term, 26 for the long term. I'm going to check these out further.
