hey lcl.... you can export your formulas, experts and such using the organizer... one of the last steps in that will be to add a password.... once you export to a folder, turn around and import back.... it will be password protected.....h

When you try to edit the expert it will ask you for the password.
Now if you did not want to have to type a password, you will have to recreate the expert ...

Hum, problem is I click on the expert, go for example to Symbols, click on buy sign and EDIT, it opens expert symbol editor but it doesn't ask for password, it just says on the condition box "Formula is password protected or read-only"

That's because you are trying to open someone else's formula ....
That's why you don't get the prompt ... That has nothing to do with the protection you would get when you export and password protect your own work.

Is there any way to 'open' someone else's password-protected formula?  :P

Yes, CL, there is a way:
Please pay the programmer who has spent the time and effort to develop your custom work. :x
Say, you wouldn't want to open the password-protected formula I have spent one hour's work on, the one you haven't paid for, hmmm?
And if this were to be the case, would this be the way for a (supposedly) professional to behave?
