I've just learnt how to create a favourite (acting as a watch list) in V8. It is rather cumbersome, you have to open the chart of the counter (using the short-cut icon at bottom right corner of the chart window), right click the button and use add favourite to the respective folder.
Is there a better way to create favourite? I'm looking for a screen with selected counters (watch list) displayed with rows of records showing the counter name, open, close, high, low, volume etc information. You can then select the counter row and double click to view the chart!!! - It will be wonderful!!!

Since it takes so much time and effort to creat favorite file, backup on the file is desirable. Right now you have to do it in Window. Metastock should provide export and import functions for favorite files too. Also it should provide a merge function to merge different favorite files. This merge function is useful if different users want to share their favorite file.

YES, It should be possibe to do it with the help of Explorer in MetaStock. Go to reports after exploration, Right Click and BULK ADD to a favourite .

I would like it to work like the "save chart" feature. When I am scrolling through smart charts with a template
and I want to save some, the first time I save I have to go through a bunch of steps but the next time all I
have to do is "cntl S" the chart and it one-stroke saves the chart - all the steps drop into the background. I
can whip through a lot of charts without having to slow down..
