a while back there was some sort of talk about trading contest here.... i didn't follow the thread but would assume its purpose was to promote interest in system building..... which would make one wonder just how it would have been judged....
the most profitable quickly comes to mind..... but whats the point in building a system that, while the most profitable, forces me to sit glued to the computors day in and out..... systems with high profits and 0 losses might be easy to find but their true cost is somewhat more elusive.... the time a system requires from us is a vaild concern.....
kinda makes you wonder if a system limited to 12 trades a year might be a worthwhile goal..... an ambitious one that has 0 losses and 50% returns across the entire s&p 500 for 5 years yet lets you live life..... possible?..... my money is on meta......h
