I would like Equis to add an easier way of manipulating the x-axis properties of a chart. If I am looking at a historical data and want to increment the last date displayed and last date loaded, I have to go into the x-axis properties and increment the last dates, hit apply and check the changes to the chart and any formulas. There is a button for the previous and next security, zoom in and out, have a button to increase the last date loaded / displayed. Even better would be to have the mouse wheel control it.
I have asked Equis support about it and they said others have asked for the same thing.

I totally agree with you.
It should be as simple as this:
when you move your point over either axis, if the mouse wheel is scrolled, the axis should immediately gain focus and scroll accordingly, but if the wheel is not turned, whatever had focus before 'mouse hover over axis' should maintain focus.
User Configurables:
> X- and Y-axis scroll direction to wheel direction
> scroll speed
Psuedo code would be something like this:
If(pointer-position ISOVER chart-axis,
thenif(mouse-wheel ISMOVED,
then chart-axis GAINSFOCUS
and chart-axis ISCROLLED
and previous-selection RESUMESFOCUS
)
)
{Not as very good attempt at psuedo code I know, but...}
