Actually, it looks like the "round" function rounds to the nearest whole number, but the "prec" function truncates to the number of decimals entered instead of rounding to the that number of decimals. Is that true?
example:
if C=16.5370
round(C) returns 17
prec (C,2) returns 16.53 instead of 16.54
