this applies easiest to those using wireless, dsl/cable modems or networked internet connections, for your standard 56k modem must be free...... if you prefer not to download wav's, a wise policy, or perhaps hearing is an issue or maybe you’re a sound sleeper and you just have to take a nap, meta can send the alert to your pager or cell phone….. just turn them on vibrate and stick it in your pocket and nap away…. are you wondering if it'll wake you up, well clearly you've never had one go off in your pocket….. if after the pager/cell buzzes and you clear that bed only to see 2 grinny head kids, one with a phone and the other with a camcorder, remember , it probably was kinda funny……. it also might be wise to remember things can, do, and will go wrong, so use alerts with proper care……h
