if you were to develope the perfect chart and decide to save it as a template, if line studies such as fibonaccia were attached when saved, those fib lines would be a passive part of that template..... apply that template to another issue and the fib lines will not adapt to the new issue.... here are my molivia and murray math templates ...... now these use adaptive line studies..... so as you scroll back in time the fib or murray will adapt to the high/low visable on the chart..... also if we were to pull up a chart of 'ibm' those lines would adapt to 'ibm'...... change to the periods to weekly and the lines adapt again...... a rule of thumb is if the line studies come from the toolbars, their passive and if they come from the indicator list, their adaptive......h
