Happily user of glorious MS11, until my old laptop PC forced me to a hardware upgrade. So I purchased and installed the new MS19, before importing all the technical stuff (indicators, exploration and the like). But wonder when/how to paste the huge favorities.dta file which grew itself in the years. Any thoughts?

Hello, Unfortunately we moved away from the Favorites.DTA with version 12, and there was no way to import these items into newer versions of MetaStock. The old Favorites also supported items that don't really work the same way in newer versions of MetaStock. Saved charts and layouts are accessed via File > Open and you can make custom data lists (online or local data) to access particular instruments and their smart charts. If you have specific items that you are wondering about reproducing in the newer MetaStock, you may wish to provide more specifics here, or you can contact our MetaStock support directly to see if there might be a way to accomodate these items in a different way.
