Formula to detect last candle of yesterday and first candle of today

Hello Everyone; I am trying to create and explorer which compares close of last candle of last trading day and open of first candle of today on a 15 minutes chart. Can someone help me with how to do that? I haven't seen any code which compares intraday candles of 2 different days. Please helpme with this code. Any help would be highly appriciated
