I am confused about the bulit in function zig,what it returns.How can i see the internal implementation of the function. Zig(C,17,%)

Your code is returning a series of (hindsight based) data, where the CLOSE price retraces 17% from the previous extreme value. Which bit are you confused with?

I do not know how to upload a picture here.So i use the text to describe the scene.I create a indicator zizagByliwen：Zig(C,17,%) ，then i insert the indicator on chart.i can see the value zizagByliwen on each candlestick.
my confusion is that when the indicator plot the peak bar,what the Zig value of the next bar. Obviously,the next bar does not retraces 17% from the the peak bar.
when the cursor moves to any bar，what the zig value on the bar represents.

I still don't know what you're asking??
You cannot post images directly to the forum, so upload an image to your own webspace or another image host (there are lots of them, some are free) and post a link to that uploaded image.

Zig / Peak / Trough are all HINDSIGHT based indicator ,Zig will get printed in every bar seeming like a straight line it should never be used in an indicator because the value of zig is DYNAMIC
