MetaStock 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 -
Open MetaStock.

Select Tools > Indicator Builder and select the Organizer button.

From the Formula Organizer wizard select to "export formula files" and select Next.

Highlight all custom indicators from the "Select Custom Indicators" window, and select Next (or any indicators to be backed up).

Highlight all custom system test from the "Select System Tests" window, and select Next (or any system tests to be backed up).

Highlight all custom explorations from the "Select Explorations" window, and select Next (or any explorations to be backed up).

Highlight all custom expert advisors from the "Select Experts" window, and select Next (or any experts to be backed up).

Highlight any templates to be backed up from the "Select Templates" window and select Next.

Select Next to the "Select MSX DLL" window.

Check the option "Create Self-Extracting Installation" and hit Next.

Select browse to select a location on the computer where the self-extracting install file will be created.

If a password is required for the selected custom formulas, that can be set at the "Password Protect" window.
- Select Finish to back up the custom formulas and create the file in the specified location.

Open MetaStock.

- Select Finish to back up the custom formulas and create the file in the specified location.
