How can I display a line on a chart, where the line starts at a defined date eg purchase date, and can I also define how long the line is to be, ie when the line stops displaying? I tried using the barssince function but could not get it working. Just looking for guidance to make a start, not a complete solution. I have read the user's manual and the formula Primer and can't find anything on the forum.

Thanks wabbit. I will try it when I get home. It looks complex, but let's try it first. Have a happy and safe New Year...
