Hi Murat So I assume you are using daily charts, also known as daily periodicity (not intra-day, weekly or monthly)? What I don't understand is what you mean by "quarterly RSI". Can you explain the meaning of "daily chart quarterly rsi"? Thanks. Roy

Hi Roy,

As you understood correctly I use daily charts.

As the indicator in the daily chart, I would to use the three monthly RSI as indicator in the daily chart.

Is something like this possible ?

Thanks,

Hi Murat I'm still unsure what the term "three monthly RSI" means. Does that mean a 3-period RSI plotting monthly values on a normal daily chart? Or does it mean that you want to plot a normal 3-period RSI for just the last three months of a daily chart? My Multi-Frame series of MetaStock indicators, including RSI, can plot almost any higher periodicity than the current periodicity of a chart. The following link lists just one series of Multi-Frame indicators in a PDF document. Images in the document demonstrate a number of Multi-Frame indicators plotting higher periodicity indicators on lower periodicity charts http://www.metastocktips...lti_frame_file_names.pdf Is this the sort of result that you want to achieve? Hi Murat Email me at rlarsen@quik.co.nz and I'll send you a ZIP file that contains a password-protected self-installing EXE file for MetaStock version 8 and above. The EXE file contains 3 Multi-Frame indicators and two DLLs required by the RSI Multi-Frame indicators. Double clicking the EXE within the ZIP file should start the install process to whatever version of MetaStock you're using. It's useful to run the EXE file twice, the second time just to identify what files were installed on the first pass. As I said to start with, the Multi-Frame formulas cannot be opened unless you have the password, so default values cannot be changed. However, these M-F indicators still offer a range of user options that you can experiment with. The D~ indicator generates any time frame between 1 bar and 65 bars. The D and D+ indicators between them can plot time frames ranging from 1 day through to 12 months. These sample files are available to all Forum members on the provision of an email request. Hopefully the ZIP file will be available as a download from my website within the next 24 hours. Roy
