Metastock has reports subdirectory as you know, and it gathers large amount of diskspace afterawhile.. What id like to ask you if deleting items in reports directory harmfull , may it damage other things related to ms...
İ.E i see a lot of 2014 dated data in that folder, what is their job? In termso f system test reports the system automatically asks to clean up old tests and i thought all old reports were fully deleted..
Thanks for your help...

Hi,
This folder is used for storing part of the System Tester reports. The Summary and System tabs of your reports are stored directly within the ST_DATA.MDB file. The Results folder should contain the Orders, Positions, and Equity data of your system test reports.
Typically cleaning the results is a good idea and should help keep things to a reasonable size, although I could see where results might get stuck in the folder in some situations. It is definitely safe to delete the Results folder. The other folder that can contain reports is the Explore folder. This folder is also safe to delete, but you will lose all exploration reports. Deleting any other files may have adverse affects on the program, but these 2 particular folders are safe to delete as long as you're ok with losing any previous reports. Edited by user 10 years ago
