Unfortunately I deleted the ST_Data and now I can't run the system tester or the organizer. What to do?

If you've got no forensic recovery tools or skills, one possible course of action is to reinstall MS to a temporary area, then copy the ST_DATA file to the original location, then remove the temporary installation. Or, you could back up all you personal codes and completely reinstall MS and then recover your personal codes. Without having a MS installation with me, I don't know if you can unpack just ST_DATA from the original CD but its worth having a look. In any case the deleted file not only stores the results of system tests, but it stores the system tests themselves and you've deleted it! Rule 1. Backup Rule 2. Backup

MetaStock 13 actually has a clean copy placed in a folder on the drive that does not get used. MetaStock 11 I believed had a "Resource" folder on the CD that had a clean copy. This was not in the download version of MS 11.

Alternately, if needed we could also send a zipped version of the ST_DATA file. Of course this would not have any custom System Tests / Add-Ons that you might own.
