CLc1 should get you what you need. c1 is a pretty standard suffix for all Continuous contracts. One thing to keep in mind is that when in the Symbol Lookup area the "c1" symbol will still show a specific month next to the name of the future symbol. This isn't always accurate and it only reflects the month that the continuous was tracking at the time the symbol database was create. Once you actually open a chart of this, the month will update in the chart to reflect the current month it is following.
There are other types of continuous contracts but they are not available on all symbols so "c1" will still be your most reliable type of contract:
c1 (roll on expiration) cm1 (a certain type of continuous that follows the active serial contracts, most useful for metals like GCcm1) v1 (roll on volume instead of expiration) cvoi1 (roll on volume and open interest)
Again, these suffixes will not work for all contracts, so your best bet is to try them and see which ones give you the best looking chart for that future.

Versions 12 and 13 of MetaStock do not allow direct editing of the data (the data is simply held in memory when you open a chart, run a scan, etc.). You could write a custom formula that manipulates the price data, such as:
Security("IBM",C) / 2
There is also functionality that allows you to convert the data into an CSV / TXT format which can be linked into MetaStock 13, which means any amount of editing could be done to the data within the CSV / TXT. This local CSV / TXT method would not be live / realtime data, whereas the Security function would operate off live data.
