Dear MS Support,

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 and downloaded MetaStock 11 on the new laptop.

Now I'm trying to download the following 3 add-ons and I'm having issues to add on my new laptop.

ETS trading System:

Downloads and the files are on my C drive and when it verifies trendwatch.dll it gets to about 52% and then shuts off. When I go to Metastock and look for the Exploration, Indicator system test it's not there.

Chart pattern:

Open up and downloads and never appears in my MetaStock program.

PivotPoint Plus:

Try to down load it opens and shuts down fast, and not in MetaStock.

I downloaded th following add-ons with no issues:

Bigtrends

Pristine pattern Method

Trade Oracle

Bollinger Bands

Performance System

I'm currently confused right now. This is the file it goes C:ProgramFile (X86)

Can anyone shed some help here. I really appreciate this help.

Hello,

It will sometimes depend on the plug-in/add-on since the addition of Windows User Account Control. Some plug-in installers handle this better than others, but generally speaking right-clicking on the Setup Application file and choosing "Run As Administrator" is the best way to install any MetaStock plug-in.

MS Support,

When I try to plot the Expert Advisor, no signals appear on my chart? and the attached Expert Advisor comments errors appear. How do I fix this issue now to get this add-on to work properly?

Wabbitt,

When I open a chart and attach the expert Advisor for ETS no signals are plotted on my charts, also in my Expert advisor commentary errors appear for signal current position and Extended profit target.

We have seen where the status of the plug-in varies depending on whether you run the ETS Key Code Utility As Administrator or not. If you email us or contact us with the Temp Key (both running as Admin and running it normally) we should be able to generate a permanent key for you in both instances, which should permanently activate ETS on your PC.
