Referring to following link, I would like to know on how to code AMR in Metastock coding.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions :>
Basic idea:
If the market had a rally of 40% in the previous 12 months and the biggest decline within that period was 10%, then the adverse move ratio (AMR) is 40/10 = 4. If there was only a 10% rally while there was 30% decline in the previous twelve months, then AMR would be 10/30 = 0.33

Needs to be written in a language which permits loops.

You need to be able to write a loop... you'll need the MDK to compile a Win32 DLL external function.
