I'm not clear on what you mean with "...which gives profits"?

As you can see it's my first time on the forum, and I usually get technical support to write all my formulas.

All I meant is that you can make a profit with this formula. But you would make a lot more

if Explorer came up with results 2 or 3 months earlier. I just find that in the present state

the formulas results are a bit late (i.e the stocks have already gone up considerably with the formula in its present form).

I'm still not real clear. But try this and see if it gets you closer. I got very few hits on this..but maybe that is what you're looking for.

Hi,

I usually get the technical support team to write formulas for the Explorer for me.

Does anybody know where I can find a course that teaches one to write the code for Explorer?

many thanks in advance,

Leo.

Here are a couple of resources:

Kevin Nelson was the former Sales manager for MetaStock. He's now providing training.

Also some videos on our website:

Hi,

I came across this "Metastock programming study guide" from www.meta-formula.com

based in Australia(company name- "Trading Excellence") for $297 AUD.

Does anybody have any experience of this guide? as I'm tempted to get it.

Leo.

The formula language largely works the same within any of the MetaStock power tools. The Column and Filter functionality are the main items to familiarize with. Columns A through L are designed to report information (including True/False signals) while the Filter is designed to reject securities that do not meet the Filter criteria.

We do have a Formula Primer which starts with some basic formula writing and expands on this. You can download this free at:

A ripped-off copy of the Formula Primer - stay away from the meta-formula.com scammers (specially David Jenyns)
