I am having major problems with the maximum stop loss function. Every time I test a breakout system that enters on days with a range greater than my stop (say 10%) then the exit is triggered the same day. How do I overcome this so that the stop kicks in on the day after entry?

The built-in stops were designed to trigger on the same bar as entry.

If you want a stop to trigger on the next bar, you will need to program the stop yourself.
