Hello,
Has anyone used the two candlesticks add ons, Greg Morris’ Japanese Candle Pattern Recognition, and Nison's Candlesticks Unleashed, with success?
What problems did you encounter?

Have them both and theywork fine. Using MS 11 EOD.

nison's add-on requires that you have the SPX as a security in your local data folders
I can't comment on Metastock 12 though

The Nison Candlestick Add-on requires that you have the symbol SPX loaded into the local data folder.
If the stock or asset that you are trading, is highly correlated to the SPX , then this add-on will work

PowerPivot plus add-on utilizes several bars to determine pivots and their strengths,
candlestick patterns can be single bars or multiple bars.
if you want explorations for candles then just write them, you don't need the PowerPivots Add-on.
To delete the nison Add-on
open explorer/c/programfiles x86/Equis/metastock/external function dll's/
find NCU10 dll and delete it
