hi,

i want to determine the slope of a linear regression line. I want the value to appear on the chart.

the slope of the LR line is based on scaling of the underlying curve, oscillator or indicator. What i want to calculate is the slope based on time(x axis) vs price(y axis)

(m=rise/run)

would appreciate any help

I'd measure the change in the linear regression line using ROC() and then divide by the same number of periods I used in that ROC() function.

Read the MS User Manual and then do the basic exercises in the free Equis Formula Primer and you'll easily achieve this simple programming project.

Hi wabbit

many thanks for a prompt reply.

An elementary querry-the linear regression is that of OBV. Will measuring the ROC of this line give the slope of the LR of OBV line?

And how to get the result to show on the chart?

TY
