Previously I've developed DLLs for MetaStock. However, the exact development frame doesn't work with v12.0.43.0. My DLL doesn't appear in the functions list and coded calls into it are flagged as invalid. The GV.dll downloaded from the MS files section isn't recognized either.

I've placed both DLLs in my
C:\Program Files (x86) homson Reuters RD 6\Program\External Function DLLs.
My development environment is Visual Studio 2010 Express. I've used this version previously to successfully develop and deploy custom DLLs for MS.

Any insights or suggestions?

You'll need to place your DLLs in your user profile folder rather than under Program Files.

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data homson Reuters\MetaStock\Formulas\External Function DLLs.
