Dear All,
Can anyone help me please? I am a newbie in Metastock.
When i am trying to install Metastock by either execute the Setup.exe or StartSetup.exe,
the system has pop-up a processing message which indicate that the setup is preparing the InstallShield wizard.

However, after this, there is no further process shown and Metastock still cannot be installed.
Can anyone help me please?

Thanx in advance

This can frequently occur due to some background process that is conflicting with our setup. What I would recommend doing is shutting down as many background processes as possible (Ctrl-Alt-Delete, click the Processes tab) and trying to run the Setup again.

I also have the same problem. Had been using 10.1 for couple of years, move to Window 7 32bit and now going to move the license to window 7 64bit. Had install successfully, open up it says "unable to write to hard disk", go to license manager to initialise the media but not working. How can I move the license to my new PC? Thank you.

If you have not done so, please contact Technical Support. There are updates to the licensing software but they are not posted on our web site because they are version specific. Downloading and installing the wrong one can cause more issues than it resolves
