Hi,

I don't know if this has been asked before but is there a way to:

1) assign a hotkey for the trendline tool

2) hotkey for zoom reset and y-axis rescaling

3) make the mousewheel scroll the chart faster to the left and right (cause i really find it SLOWWW)

these would really make working in metastock a LOT faster.

I still have some other things in mind but i can't remember right now. Anyway thanks in advance!

Starting with the third point first, this is a setting of the OS so use your Control Panel to change the scroll-speed settings there.

Whilst in the Control Panel, you can assign application-specific macros to the mouse buttons (I use the wheel-button as my zoom reset) After you have exhausted all of the mouse button actions for your mouse, you are going to have to resort to writing Windows macros to achieve the rest of your tasks; there are some pretty good free applications available on the web (although I don't use any myself).

In WinXP (if you're using Win7+ its pretty much the same path) and you have an IntelliPoint mouse (which just about all mice are capable of emulating? check your manufacturer's driver settings):

Control Panel > Mouse > Buttons > Enable program specific settings

Then:

Settings > Add program (mswin)

Then:

Choose your button, and start the macro editor. "Write" your macro.
