Rank: Member Groups: Registered, Registered Users Joined: 7/26/2011(UTC) Posts: 21		I have metastock 11 EOD and I am a new user. I want to create an OLE object in my excel. I right click on the chart in Metastock and the choose copy. In excel I can only choose paste. It is not possible to choose the option "paste as link". Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Try opening a new blank worksheet and paste linking the chart to that

Rank: Member Groups: Registered, Registered Users Joined: 7/26/2011(UTC) Posts: 21		Thanks for the reply. The error was due to that I copied a chart within a layout. If I copy a "real" chart in Metastock, I am able to insert a chart in excel as OLE object. My mistake.
