I've updtated my symbol database severl times, but still can't get Linkedin (LNKD) to show up. I'm confused. Also, I have stocks that have split 2:1, shouldn't they be automatically adjusted as well? Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks

We update the symbol database the first week of each month. LNKD has only been trading a few days and so it not in the database yet. However you can manually add it to MetaStock by going to File -> Open. then go to Tools -> New Symbol. Enter whatever you want for the name. Then enter the symbol. For Reuters Datalink account, use the symbol "LNKD.K". If you use QuoteCenter, the symbol would be "us;LNKD"
