Can some one help me at how to inport personally compiled data ( which is in the metastock format) into the metastock program so that I can analyse it .

Assuming you have the data it in Excel, in the form Date, O, H, L, C etc., the simplest way is to use The Downloader to create a new file, give it a symbol and just copy & paste the data.

To begin, you must use the loader start collecting data for your currency pair or securities. If your version is end of day, and I think that, and you must use The Downloader to file securities and then populate it with data. You can convert the data in Metastock format. If you do not have subscription Equis International, you should use alternative methods of loading data in CVS format, TXT, EXCEL, and then save in Metastock. More information on these actions, you can find The program's Help menu or Metastock Downloader.
